Working our way through Chloe’s Fall collection over at Me Sew Crazy, today we are revealing the Sailor Skirt…
Inspired by a skirt seen in the recent Anthropology catalog, I knew it would be a perfect fit for the collection.
I had a hard time figuring out how to make it, as it seemed easy enough. But when I was cutting the fabric, I made a mistake – and had to improvise from there. That being said, I know there is a different way to put this together, and I may revisit it someday to show you another how-to tutorial. But for this skirt, the tutorial I did come up with works great as well!
With a fitted waist, this skirt is perfect for the little girl in your life. For bigger girls, I would suggest adding a couple of darts in the back for the perfect fit!
Don’t you just love those socks?!! Who says you can only wear soccer socks for soccer practice?!! L-O-V-E
She was having fun posing with the apple…
