Need a quick treat for an upcoming 4th of July party? How about 4th of July Marshmallow Treat Pops?
I love any excuse to whip up some fun printables and a sweet treat so with 4th of July just around the corner I thought, hey, let’s make some 4th of July Marshmallow Treat Pops!
Here’s what you need to pull off these yummies!
White Candy Melts
Rice Krispies Treats ®
Red, White and Blue Sprinkles
Paper Straws (I got these patriotic ones in the Target dollar spot.)
4th of July Printable Tags
Clear Treat Bags
Bakers Twine
I started by sticking the marshmallow treats on the straws. I inserted it about 3/4 of the way up to make sure they didn’t fall off the straw. I then melted my white chocolate candy melts in the microwave according to package instructions and dipped just the front of the pops into the chocolate. I tilted my bowl on it’s side a bit so that I could easily cover just the front. I smoothed out the chocolate just a bit with a butter knife before placing on a parchment covered baking sheet and sprinkling with sprinkles.
Once I was done I popped them into the fridge for about 10 minutes or so to let the chocolate set. I finished it off by covering each pop with clear treat bags that you can pick up in any craft store. I secured the bag with bakers twine and added a fun 4th of July label just because everything looks cuter with a printable!
If you are hosting a 4th of July party, these make great favors for your guests. I’m not sure they will want to wait that long to eat them so you just might want to put them into a cute bucket and set out on display for your friends to help themselves. Here are some free printable 4th of July Tags for you to download. To use as labels, print out onto full sheet labels and use a 2 inch circle punch or a 2.25″ scallop punch to punch out. To use as tags, print out onto white card stock and use the same size paper punch of your choice.

Bet you have great celebrations at your house! Cheers from kidcandoodle.com
Thanks Diana for these cute tags. These cute tags could be used in LOT of ways. I plan on using them as an addition on my homemade Fourth July, Memorial Day and Veterans Day cards. Use them to make a cute “patriotic” flower arrangement with the tag attached. Even using them to make bookmarks….we always need reminding that we live STILL in the greatest country in the world.
So many great ideas, Mary!!! Thanks for sharing! š XO
