With the rapid growth of children with allergies, handing out non-candy valentines at your child’s classroom Valentine’s Day party is the safest way to go. These adorable Eraser Ring Valentines are the perfect alternative to candy valentines and are sure to be crowd pleasers.
The other day I was walking through Target when I came across these adorable eraser engagement rings in the holiday section. For just 3 bucks you get a bag of 24 eraser rings. Immediately I had the idea to create these super cute “Will You Be My Valentine?” printable cards to go with the rings. Now, our littles are way too little to be thinking about being married or giving out rings but I still thought these were so cute. An added bonus is that they aren’t candy so any children in their classroom with allergies can enjoy this fun valentine too (and not feel left out).
There are 2 designs: Red and Pink. On each card (not seen in the photo) are 2 little hearts which are markers for where to poke the holes to string the bakers twine through. I just used a metal shish-kabob skewer to poke my holes. You can use anything that you have on hand.
Here’s my little supply list (affiliate links below) so that you can easily make these.
*As I mentioned I purchased my eraser rings at Target. If you don’t have a Target nearby or if you regularly shop on Amazon, I’ve included a link to purchase just in case.
Since there is no place to write “To:” and “From:” on the cards, I created these simple labels to use. All you need to do is print them out onto full sheet labels and cut with a paper cutter or scissors.
