A few weeks ago I posted a quick menu that I had drawn up for my family. I found that I did much better with my food shopping and spending when I had a menu written up. Later on that day I got an email from Heather from E-mealz offering to let me try out their meal plan program.

What is E-mealz? E-mealz is an online menu planning service that offers a menu plan for busy families or wives.
They have over 20 menu plans for a family ranging from 2-6 based on options that include low carb, low fat, point system, and vegetarian as well as different grocery stores and mass retailers. This way they can help families save money based on weekly sales at their chosen grocery store.

I totally love this whole concept because you sign up, choose your grocery store of choice, family size and they provide weekly menus including your shopping list. I mean, how easy can it get?

Right now at E-mealz they are hosting family week. Over at their SITE you can get a free downloadable menu, games for families and dessert recipes that we created to help make family the focus of this week. Please take some time and head over there to check it out. 🙂 They also have a really fabulous BLOG to check out.

Two lucky readers are going to receive a 3 month subscription to E-mealz. And readers can get 10% off the subscription by using code tgcreative at check out.

  9. I am new to your blog. I would LOVE something like this. I work full-time in the morning, my husband works in the afternoon we have 5 kids and by the time I get off work and get the house cleaned my poor kids are starving and I have no idea what to make for dinner so they usually get mac and cheese or something simple. With a little help with planning my kids would eat good meals.

  11. I signed up to follow your blog – you were already on the top menu bar of my browser so I was checking in all the time anyway 😉 As soon as I finish this comment, I’ll “like” you on fb.
I NEED E-mealz because it is just two of us and due to our busy work schedules and the difficulty of cooking for two we eat out every night – and we sometimes meet for lunch during the day too. We want so badly to cook at home and get healthy but can’t seem to get in the frame of mind to actually plan something so at the last minute we end up picking a restaurant. Please pick me and *help us*!

  12. So I went and took a gander at e-mealz. My husband and I live on his income while I finish school, and its just to two of us. I know how to cook, but I don’t know how to cook for “2.” We always end up with too much food, and then leftovers-and my husband doesn’t eat leftovers. Having a plan and a guide for cooking for two would be super helpful for us!

  13. I would love to win this because, like all moms that work with three young children, I am very busy. But I love that you don’t have to come up with something to fix every night. They do the dinner time thinking for you. Great Idea!!

That’s awesome! I’d love to try it out.

  15. Of course I am already a follower and love linking up each week! I’d love to try E~Mealz…different recipes other than what I usually fix and I’m sure my family would appreciate that! I need all the help I can get in the cooking department! :o)

  16. This sounds like a great idea! My daughter just became a vegetarian. While I am trying to be respectful of her choice, it makes meal planning and shopping a bit more difficult while trying to satisfy the rest of the family.

  17. This sounds awesome! As someone with a full-time job and a part-time graduate program, this could really help streamline my evenings!
