The weather here in NY has been unseasonably warm for November. I prefer the cooler weather but there is just something about warm weather that makes me think of lemonade and ice tea. I’m usually a diet soda drinker but every now and then I like to mix it up with something different.
We are creatures of habit in our house when it comes to beverages. But it’s good to break the mold a bit, isn’t it? That’s where Snapple® Straight Up Tea™ comes in. Snapple® Straight Up Tea™ comes in three levels of sweetness; Unsweetened which has 0 calories, sorta sweet which has 90 calories and sweetened which has 180 calories. If I’m going to have anything other than my usual, it’s gotta be sweet. The more sugar the better! That’s how I roll. I hit up Stop and Shop and picked up some Snapple® Straight Up Tea™ in sweetened and unsweetened.
I took a sip of the sweetened tea and was confronted with a nice, strong tea flavor. It was sweet but not overwhelming. In all honesty I thought it was going to taste like the iced tea you buy in powdered form. Not so. So I brought in the big guns: Mr. Girl Creative. He LOVES tea in all its forms. I had him taste both kinds and after his sip of the unsweetened Snapple® Straight Up Tea™ he said, “ahhhh, now that’s my kind of tea”! He loved it!
Snapple Straight Up Tea has that brewed tea taste. It’s black tea sweetened with just a touch of real sugar. Right now it’s available on sale at Stop and Shop for 10/$10 until November 8. I absolutely love those kinds of deals. Perfect for stocking up on your favorite drinks. Snapple® Straight Up Tea™ is a great beverage to keep on hand for any time of year. It’s great for those warmer -than-usual fall days.
