Hello there TGC readers! I’m Maggie from The Love Nerds which includes my blog {full of crafts, free printables, party ideas and recipes}, my Etsy shop, and my event planning business. I am so excited to be here on The Girl Creative every month to offer you free printables! Diana is so wonderful to work with, plus I get to know all of you as well!!
I am still having a hard time believing that Halloween is right around the corner! This is the first year that my husband and I are settled in our own place for the upcoming holiday season which means this is also the first time I really get to decorate. I’m a huge book nerd, so I really wanted to bring literary elements into my Halloween decor, and Shakespeare’s Macbeth seemed like the perfect choice with the creepy witches chanting around their cauldron in the middle of no where. Don’t worry, even if you don’t like dear old Shakers, the quotes should be pretty familiar to you: “Double, Double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble!”
I wanted to give you LOTS of choices, so I included three different full prints which are perfect for framing as well as smaller labels. I currently chose to frame the “boil and bubble” print to include with my other Halloween decor. You will find ALL the prints available HERE for download.
My favorite part of their chants are the spooky ingredients listed in their spell – like “Owlet’s Wing” and “Wool of Bat”! These would make a perfect addition to a Halloween party! Use adhesive tape or hot glue to attach them to the outside of food or candy dishes. Even if the food inside doesn’t match the description, your guests will get a kick out of reading all the Witchy ingredients.
If you are still looking for more decoration or party ideas for Halloween, you can find a whole collection of ideas HERE on my Pinterest board. I would also love to hear your ideas and the big Halloween plans you have in the works. Plus, DON’T FORGET TO DOWNLOAD YOUR FREE PRINTS!!
I hope you will also take a moment and visit me over at The Love Nerds. Don’t forget to be social though! I love to know who is stopping by so I can get to know you better.
