So now that you have the free birthday banner all picked out, now it’s time to make it.

What kind of paper should I use for printable birthday decorations?

I love using just plain white card stock for all of my party printables. From cupcake toppers to printable banners and signs, card stock is the way to go. 

What kind of printer do I need to print out party printables?

I have always owned ink jet printers and they do the trick every time. If you have a laser jet printer and plan to use card stock for your birthday decorations, make sure your printer can handle the thicker paper. I have never had an issue with any of my ink jet printers and card stock.

How do I assemble printable banners?

You’ll need a paper cutter, hole punch, ribbon or twine and washi tape (optional).  When I string my banners together I always make sure to have the long length of string along the back of each pennant. This allows me to add a cute piece of washi tape on the back of each letter to help keep them in place. This is just a personal preference for me to keep them from moving once I have them spaced out the way I want them.
