My oldest daughter’s birthday is a week before Christmas and she got this adorable monkey hooded towel from her aunt. Now everything No. 1 has, No. 2 wants. So, I’ve seen these tutorials all over the place and it looked easy enough to try, so I made some hooded towels.
Now just to forewarn you, the pictures are terrible! I just could not figure out a way to take good pictures of these (or fold them for that matter!!) but hopefully you can get the idea.
I made them each a bit different. On one I made my own biased tape (I’m still learning how to even sew that stuff!) and put it around the hood and on the other I just put it on the sides. Again, sorry about the horrible pictures. :/
Here are some tutorials that I found if anyone is interested:

The Cottage Home (this is the one I used for the basic hoody and did my own thing to embellish it)

Despite the pics … you did a great job!
Great job! Thanks for sharing the tutorials you found.
I recently made a hooded towel for my friend’s baby! They are so much nicer than the ones you find in the stores b/c they are so much thicker! Great job.
