A few years ago I got on a sign kick. Every year since I seem to accumulate more and more Christmas signs. I barely have enough room in my living room to put them on display.

My walls are full of Christmas wall decor from Christmas stockings to Christmas wood signs.

All of this in the effort to create a rustic Christmas feeling in my small cape. I had such happy holidays as a child and I get my knack for decking the halls from my mom.

The month of December is truly the most wonderful time of the year for so many reasons. For starters, it’s the time of year that we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

That reason alone is all I need.

In addition to that, I absolutely love cooler weather and you can imagine that here in New York we definitely experience some nice, cold temps. To me the holiday season is a feeling and there’s nothing like it.

Although I don’t have room for any more holiday decor to add to my Christmas collections, I have plenty of new farmhouse-style signs on my to-do list. I just know that they will make perfect additions to my home so come hell or high water, I’ll find somewhere to hang them.

Merry Christmas SVG Cut File for Silhouette and Cricut

When I created this simple design I had the beginner Silhouette and Cricut user in mind. I went with a nice basic sans serif font and a simple Christmas tree. Cutting this out will be super easy for beginners and experienced users.

My goal is to always create timeworn vintage signs. I love for them to have a rustic, weathered finish. You can easily achieve this look on your wooden Christmas sign with paint or stain and sandpaper.
