Beat the summer heat by indulging in this super delicious No Bake Chocolate Lasagna!
I love me some delicious treats but with the summer heat I’m not about to turn on my oven no matter how much I’m craving sweets. It’s just too darn hot! Good thing there are a ton of no bake desserts out there that can satisfy my sweet tooth and this no make chocolate lasagna is one of them. I made it for the first time this weekend (after seeing it here) for a BBQ that my daughter’s soccer coach was hosting. It apparently was a huge hit and was quickly devoured. I didn’t get to have any so I knew I had to make some for our Father’s Day dessert. Yum, yum, yum!!
Ingredients
1 pkg of regular Oreos
6 TBSP of butter, melted
8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
2 tsp of milk
1/4 C granulated sugar
12 oz tub of Cool Whip
(2) 3.9 oz of instant chocolate pudding
3 1/4 C milk
mini chocolate chips
Instructions
Step One: The Crust – Grind up entire package of Oreos. I used our Ninja blender but if you have a mini food processor you can use that. You just want to make sure that it’s ground up fine and no chunks remain. Transfer to bowl and add 6 tsp of melted butter. Stir together with fork until well combined. Pour into 13×9 baking dish and distribute into an even layer on the bottom of the pan. Pop in the fridge while you work on step 2.
Step Two: Layer One – Beat cream cheese until whipped. Add 2 TBSP of milk, 1/4 C granulated sugar and 1 1/4 C of Cool Whip and mix until well combined. Spoon mixture over crust evenly.
Step Three: – Layer Two – Mix together both packages of instant chocolate pudding with 3 1/4 C of milk until well combined. Pour over over layer one. Allow to set for about 5 minutes or so.
Step Four: Spoon remaining Cool Whip over pudding layer and then top with mini chocolate chips. Freeze for at 1 hour. Transfer to refrigerator until ready to serve.
So sinfully delicious! It was a huge hit with my family and with the soccer team. This is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
