I’m kicking it old school with this Vintage 1975 SVG design. Created in honor of my 45th birthday I decided to throw it back to a simpler time. Come follow along and find out how you can customize this classic design with your own year.

Something about this design immediately takes me back to another time. Call it nostalgia or a stroll down memory lane but these colors and patterns have me reminiscing about my childhood.

VINTAGE 1975 T-SHIRT DESIGN

Although I was born in the mid-1970’s, I consider myself an 80’s kid. Bike riding all over the neighborhood on hot summer days with my sister, Kate, and the rascally bunch of kids on our block is how we spent most of our free time. I remember spending hours in the pool with our friends playing make believe games and endless rounds of pool volleyball.

I think of the clothes we used to wear. Short shorts, jelly shoes, tank tops and of course our favorite tees. You know the one. You wore it day in and day out and mom had to beg you to take it off so that she could throw it in the wash.

Ahh, those were the days.

Now I know that obviously not everyone was born in 1975. For the first time ever I’m offering an SVG design that you can customize! It’s super easy so continue reading for the details.

Included in the download are all of the file types you’ll need to create a DIY Vintage T-shirt of your own and the only thing missing is the date. That’s where you get to customize it yourself. There is also a document with important details like font name (and where to purchase) as well as the HTML color codes. All you need to do is upload the blank design to your Cricut or Silhouette software and add the year.
